I don’t agree with his religious point of view, and I’ve never heard of him until now, but he sounds like somebody who accomplished quite a bit during his lifeteime. Thanks for the informative post.

I studied with Alexander over the course of several years. One of the things he is best known for is that he was the “trainer’s trainer” in the personal growth movement of 1960,1970 + 1980. He trained many of the people who went on to create their own training organizations, eg Werner Erhard (founder of EST), John Hanley (founder of Lifespring) and Stuart Emory(sp?). Does anyone know whether Alexander’s ‘Rainbow Meditation’ tapes are still available? He was indeed a remarkable man and I treasure the time I spent with him and the wonderful things I learned from him.

Alexander always said with great conviction that he was going to live to be 120 years old.
