Power Thought on Risk
#powerthoughts
But when something like… murder happens, it’s human nature to assume a bunker mentality. Let’s shore up our defenses and and put up our guard so that when something like this happens again – when, not if – we won’t be blindsided. Problem is, we become so risk averse, we cut ourselves off from the potentially dangerous things that could bring great happiness and joy. We stop taking chances, and without those sometimes risky chances, there’s no way we can win big. Our best case scenario become losing not too badly. At least no one died becomes our mantra. Yes, we’re trapped here in this prison that we’ve dame, where we can’t possibly be happy, but at least we’re not devastated by our loss and grief.
Suzanne Brockman Quotes
Power Thought Coaching:
Tomorrow begins a brand new year – a blank slate for designing the life we were always meant to live. Many of us have been rolling with the changes in the economy and with wave after wave of bad news rolling into our own lives. I’m not a big believer in jumping off cliffs and building wings on the way down. I think there’s a much more graceful way to tap into the Flow and a much smarter way to minimize the consequences of a risk that doesn’t work out, but the real art lies in knowing where to draw that line. Where in your life are you “betting the ranch” – your future – and what steps can you take to shore up and prevent negative consequences? And where in your life have you been “playing it safe” and need to really open up the throttle?

Power Thought on Privilege
#powerthoughts
It was the detritus of normal life, none of which seemed significant in the slightest until you thought about all those people on the planet who couldn’t keep jobs or enjoy an independent existence or spare the mental energy on little distractions-like, say, the fact that Cottonelle toilet paper was fifty cents off if you bought the twelve-pack of the double rolls. Taking it all in, she was reminded yet again that going out into the real world was a luck-of-the-draw privilege, not a right…
J. R. Ward Quotes
Power Thought Coaching:
Everyone has days when even the people or things we love most in the world feel heavy and burdensome, but it is an unalterable fact that every single moment in our lives is a privilege and a gift – even when they don’t feel that way. You have my implacable promise that even the most painfully devastating situations offer their own miracles if we just have the heart to stay the course and the willingness to look for them. What would be the power for you in acknowledging that this very day, this very moment, and even the most painful challenges, are offering you a precious and miraculous gift?

Power Thought on Life Spans

The way you think, the way you behave, the way you eat, can influence your life by 30 to 50 years.
Deepak Chopra Quotes
Power Thought Coaching:
It’s a given that we are influencing not only the length of our lives on a daily basis, but the quality of life we’ll have along the way. What ways of thinking, behaving and eating can you begin to adopt that will have the greatest positive influence on your life for today AND for your tomorrows?

Power Thought on Control
#powerthoughts
Sometimes it is good…to be alone and…resourceful, (filled with) confidence. Remember how it feels to be filled…with strength…Now, here…to regain control. In. Your. Life. Now.
John Meaney Quotes
Power Thought Coaching:
There seems to be a part of all of us that longs to find our completion in the companionship of another. On a scale of 1 to 10, where are you at in love affair with yourself and in owning your own power? And what if the scale actually goes from 1 to 100 and there are levels of celebrating your own uniqueness that are far beyond what any of us can even imagine?

Power Thought on Humanity
#powerthoughts
The moment we stop fighting for each other is the moment we lose our humanity.
’2012′ Quotes
Power Thought Coaching:
As we go about the daily business of living it’s easy to lose sight of the reasons we began to struggle in the first place. The struggle begins to evaporate when we stop fighting with people and start fighting for them! Everyone needs someone to be their champion and people are starving to find someone to champion them in their lives. Who in your life can you let go of your own expectations for them and instead begin to champion their own?
