| A Content Management System (CMS) is one of those terms that defines itself: it's a system for managing the content of a website. Content Management Systems are designed to seperate the actual content - the information on a website - from the way it is presented. That allows non-technical users all of the advantages of a CMS without having to learn the technical aspects of it. |
